Newell Pool |

The Newell Pool was a gift from the Newell Industries which was located in Freeport Illinois. The pool was built in 1991 under the generous gifts from Newell and other donors as well. The pool is a welcomed site during the hottest days of the summer. Aside from teaching life saving and swimming merit badge, the pool also gives swimming lessons to young scouts, does snorkeling, mile swim, and open for free swims as well. |
