If you are traveling to camp with your troop or unit, do not forget about your tour permits as well. For your convenience the below links are tour permit applications for you to fill out.

As of May 2008, Rawleigh Cabin may no longer be rented for weekend camping Aside from offering a summer camp program during the months of June and July, the camp also provides troops the opportunity of camping during the other months as well. Any troop in Blackhawk Area Council or from another council may rent cabins or camp sites for their troop or unit to camp during the other 10 months. |

If your unit is interested in using Canyon Camp this fall and winter for a weekend cabin camp, campout, or activity, and your unit does not have a reservation, better make one as soon as possible. |

Campsites: |
There are 12 established campsites in camp that can be used for tent camping. |
|
Cabins: |
There are three cabins in camp that can be used in spring, fall, or winter for cabin camping. Rawleigh and Jamboree cabin can both hold 20 people, and Founders’ Lodge can hold 30 people. |

Dumpster: |
The dumpster is located near the visitors latrine. |
|
Water: |
There is one all-weather well. The main well is located nera to the Vickery Health Lodge. Each group should be sure and bring its own water containers. |

Firewood: |
Firewood is located near each cabin and in areas designated by the Ranger or Campmaster. The wood is only for stove or fireplace use during the off-season and should not be used in campsite firepits. |

Hiking Trails: |
There is a network of marked trails throughout the camp. |
