The Main Gate was built in 1938 and dedicated that year to a scout from the council who passed away while in the service. The Stuckenberger Gate has been an icon for many scouts who have passed through the gate. The property of Canyon Camp was purchased by the Koenig Family as a gift to the Council in 1936. Prior to that, the scouts had been renting the land from the Hess Family. |
